busy weekend

ive been bustin butt to get ready for the show next weekend. since ive had to switch my game plan, ive been working non-stop. the kids are bored, but what can i do. take out pizza helps! this week i plan on starting a new journal project i have been thinking about. {i say "thinking" as if it was a casual thought that passes in my mind- but what i really mean is many a sleepless night has been spent dreaming of my journal project} i will share more about that in a few days. until tomorrow.

this weekend i was working on my upcoming gallery show at bay arts.  the shows theme is women's work.   the show will features the work of 5 artists: kari sanford (me), erin stack, liz maugens, shelly bishop & ellen leamon.  the afternoon reception is to be held may 7th from 1-3pm in the dianne boldman education gallery and will be up until may 31st.

 

for breakfast.

this morning i had such plans of getting right into the studio without delay.  i however remembered i needed to answer a few emails leftover from yesterday, and well, one thing led to another and now here i am posting!  at least i managed to organize all of my photos on the computer, which only took 2 hours!

for breakfast...tofu and broccoli on english muffin

off to fire up the kiln.  i will be spending the rest of the day enameling.  i have lots to do before the kids get home.
